What an outstanding turn out and a truly amazing day we all had on Saturday 8th October for our Fijian Veterans and families. Thanks to them and Maj Tony Ronaldson of 2 SCOTS the event went without a hitch. The traditional outfits, singing and dancing were simply awesome. Ian had the privilege of being guest of honour along with Tony at the traditional Kava ceremony and the food was tasty and plentiful. A big thank you also to everyone who turned up from our partner organisations to showcase what they do to support Commonwealth Veterans and their families.
We are looking forward to next year’s Fiji Day and if it is half as successful as this one, then it will be hard to beat!
