Harriet is researching the experiences of Fijian women moving from Fiji to the UK and the impacts this has on you and your families. There is no set agenda on topics to be discussed, you can bring up issues such as visas, benefits and housing, to name a few.
This could be a highly beneficial project to be involved in and provide personal experiences you have. The report created by Harriet could be used to further explore and highlight any issues experienced within the Commonwealth family. She is also working with the Marama Alliance https://www.maramaalliance.com/ so if you haven’t already heard of it, have a look.
Harriet is willing to travel to Scotland to meet with anyone interested and a venue would be provided if any ladies preferred to meet as a group.
